Responsible Riding in Poole Harbour
We take responsible riding very seriously here at The Ocean Club at Salterns, working closely with Poole Harbour Commissioners to ensure everyone enjoys riding safely in and around Poole Harbour.
In 2022, we produced a short video highlighting the dangers around PWC use and how to mitigate these to ensure rider safety and the safety of other water users. You can watch our YouTube video here. Whilst fun, no consideration of the dangers of PWC use can result in serious consequences which is why it’s so important to know how to equip yourself to safely enjoy the water. Our quick video highlights what equipment should be used, how to respect other Sea-Doo riders on the water, and how to respect our surrounding environment.
We also have a team on site offering RYA PWC and Powerboat courses to teach all water users how to be responsible on the water and respect the sea. If you’re interested in any of our available courses, ring us 01202 492255 or email seaschool@salterns.co.uk to book yourself in.
